REMINDERS!

• Mandatory Ultimate Study Session is on May 28 immediately after school in Ms. Cartmill’s room in C362. Food will be provided - BRING FRIENDS! Seniors come help out!

• Library Initiative: At Bryan’s House in Dallas. Tentatively planned for *Friday, June 14 - it is all day and we will have a van! We need 15 students, even if you’re a current Senior! If you love helping little kids you will love this event! More details to come.

The Texas Education Agency launched a new free online college and career planning website. The Texas College & Career resource site, www.texascollegeandcareer.org, provides information about college options, academic and financial preparation for college, higher education admissions and career research.

DID YOU KNOW: For 34 years, the AA Museum has run a six-week all day Enrichment Summer Camp Program for disadvantaged inner city youth in Dallas ages 6-12 serving over 75,000 & that more than 90% of the youth served by the Summer Camp qualify for the free or reduced lunch program. Scholarships are given to children who qualify.

This awesome event is a celebration of Art Education and will attract a professional crowd of philanthropists, educators, media, artists and local influencers. “Love. Art. Music.” will honor Principals Nakia Douglas and Michelle Neely with BTGMP’s “Spirit Award”, for their awesome work in education. The evening will showcase local artists and student art-work from area schools - come join us.
